4th Grade was lucky to have BHS students Brooke & Ryan come to the elementary school to teach us about composting!
The students had great questions and many are interested in learning how to compost in the future! #bloomerhawks
3rd graders have been learning about light in their reading curriculum the last few days.
We always have fun when we can do a few experiments to help us understand our learning. 🔦 🌞 🌈

Mr. Swartz’s manufacturing class is learning about lean and green manufacturing.
Can waste be turned into profit? Students are recycling pallets that would normally be burnt or destroyed and creating projects to sell.

Holy Plastic! The first month of the plastic recycling challenge had great success, 560 pounds of plastic film was collect in December.
Thank you to our local businesses who are helping us with our recycling challenge. Four months to go. Please stop at any of the school buildings to drop off plastic film.
