💙Mrs. Gustum’s friends went on a virtual field trip to a landfill and a recycling center, made an instrument out of reusable materials, and made a promise to keep our Earth clean! 💙

Mr. Dommer’s class just finished reading about making maple syrup in Little House in the Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder. They sampled homemade maple syrup over vanilla ice cream! Thanks to Grandpa Mustache Maple Syrup!

Happy Earth Week! Each day this week, Mrs. Brunner's Kindergarten friends are exploring various ways that we can help take care of our Earth. Today, we conducted an experiment showing what happens when we RECYCLE old tires (cereal) and REUSE them to build roads. Check out these future environmental caretakers!

The Field Conservation class at BHS is so thankful to have had Ron Sromek of Medford, WI come to our classroom and spend the morning with us! Students were able to see his large collection of furs and practice setting traps. Thank you Ron for giving up your time for us! This was a great way to celebrate receiving our Trapper Education Certification!

This week Mr. Jeff Lane was nominated by the dynamic duo English teachers Mrs. Julie Anderson and Mrs. Vanessa Sieg. From Mrs. Anderson, "There really aren't words to describe what Jeff's patient, understated presence means to us as teachers and to the students he helps in our classrooms each and every day." From Mrs. Sieg, "I am thankful for every day that Jeff is in my classroom helping navigate the waters of English 9 and 10. I absolutely love Julie's analogy, and agree that my classroom would not run the same without Jeff in there."
