Bloomer Elementary had a Kickoff Assembly last week where the whole school gathered together dressed in black and orange! We chanted “I am a Blackhawk!”, talked about school expectations, and learned about trying new things through some fun teacher competitions!
We all learned together about trying your best and being ok with making mistakes! What a great way to start the year! 🧡🖤🦅

We're Hiring

Bloomer School District would like to welcome Amanda Sampson. Amanda joins the school district as a para at the high school.
Amanda is originally from Bloomer. "My husband and I moved back to the Bloomer area last year. We have two amazing children, Madalyn (7) and Mason (6). We live on a small hobby farm outside of the city."
Her hobbies include gardening, canning, swimming, and anything with animals or my family.
When asked, why are you excited to work in the Bloomer School District? Amanda's response was "I grew up in Bloomer and went through the Bloomer school district myself. I'm so happy to help the next generations achieve their goals and simply get them to the next stage of their life. I started in the district as a sub and just loved the people working here. They were so easy to work with and extremely helpful in answering all my questions. It was so easy to say yes to a full-time position knowing the wonderful time I was going to be part of!
Welcome to the Team!! #bloomerhawks

In kindergarten, we are learning about friendships. This week, Mrs. Brunner's friends read a story called, Our Class is a Family.
