The fifth graders enjoyed some hands on learning in Social Studies this week while learning about the French Fur Trade! Students did a great job identifying the different animals and then using their critical thinking skills to make decisions in different scenarios as if they were part of the fur trade themselves. A very special thanks to Mrs. Bloom’s dad for lending the furs to the fifth graders!

Ms. Gesler's 7th-grade Health class has been learning about stress management techniques and improving resiliency against things that might be challenging. Her students created their first-ever hand-sewing project, which is an activity that can be utilized to help manage stress. WOW, they did a great job! Mrs. Johnson's Animal Vet I class watched Emily Blodgett give a demonstration on how to shoe a horse. She is a farrier who volunteers her time to come to school once a year to show Animal Science students aspects of her job. Thank you Emily! 🐴🧲 #bloomerhawks
