This week Mrs. Otto was nominated by Mrs. Bohl for the Golden Talon award. "I am always impressed by how thoughtful Jamie is about her decisions. She tries to see things in a variety of ways and works to find information about what is best in her classroom. I also appreciate how she works hard to build relationships with her students. Math is one of those "hard" subjects where kids can shut down because they aren't naturally good at it, but I know Jamie has built some awesome relationships through the years with many of those kids who hate math, and that is what it is all about."

February 17 was National Random Acts of Kindness Day and Ms. Begalke’s second graders were able to complete 34 random acts of kindness throughout the day!! Way to go second graders!! Now let’s carry that kindness into the remainder of our school year! #bloomerhawks
