Justin will be entering the United State Air Force, leaving for San Antonio, TX basic training on Monday, March 7. Jack will be entering the Marine Corps Reserves and leaving for Camp Pendleton in San Diego, CA on March 14th. 4K will miss Ms.Mika!!! Mika Trottier, a senior at BHS, was an amazing TA in the 4 year-old kindergarten classrooms! She built strong, positive relationships with many 4Kers. The students were full of smiles as she worked with them. ❤️ #bloomerhawks

Congratulations to the High School Choir! After a parent preview concert last week, a clinic with the Director of Shell Lake Arts Center last Wednesday, they competed at the Conference Large Group Music Festival today. This week Mrs. Otto has nominated Mr. Linsmeyer for the Golden Talon Award. "A few years ago, the Math Department started with some significant changes that challenged our way of thinking about curriculum and instruction. At the beginning of this journey, I taught Algebra and Jesse taught Geometry but we transitioned to more of a collaborative approach with both of us teaching sections of Algebra and Geometry. This forced a level of collaboration that we hadn't been utilizing. At the beginning it seemed like a lot of work to have to constantly meet to discuss our shared classes but over time I think we both realized the benefits of it. Jesse has been one of my sounding boards when I need to talk through a situation and he's always been supportive of any new idea I've had even when it's added to his workload. I've always appreciated his commitment to education and his willingness to try new things." #bloomerhawks
