Bloomer Elementary School is pleased to present our December Kind Hero Awards to Mr. John Shipman and Weston L.!
They both embody what this award represents! They create an impact and unlock kindness!
Mr. Shipman is a soft-spoken hero, filling in as a substitute custodian and a volunteer at our Food Pantry. He is a "salt of the Earth guy," never complaining and always willing to do what is asked of him.
Weston was a TA in our 4K classrooms and went above and beyond making connections with all students, always greeting them with a smile!

The 4K students enjoyed learning all about animals that hibernate.
Each student brought a hibernating animal to school, made a cozy bed for it and now they will take a long winter nap in our classroom.
