Mrs. Brunner's kindergarten friends dug their hands in ooey, gooey, squishy, slimy PUMPKIN GUTS this week!
Boys and girls sorted out seeds and counted them. We used our counting skills to practice counting groups of 10. Can you believe this pumpkin had 460 seeds?
Way to go kindergarten friends!

🧦 Socktoberfest is On! 🧦
The Bloomer Middle School Student Council is hosting Socktoberfest to support the homeless and those in need. We’re on a mission to collect 500 pairs of socks to make a difference, and we’ve already reached 132 pairs!
If you’re able to help, please consider dropping off new socks at Bloomer Middle School. Every pair counts and gets us closer to our goal! 🧦✨
Collection runs through October 31. Let’s work together to keep feet warm and spirits high this fall!
Mrs. Paroubek’s ELA classes had a text-based fishbowl discussion about the challenges faced by the main character in our novel.
Students came to the discussion prepared with notes, they used evidence from the text to explain their thinking, they made sure everyone had a chance to speak, and they responded to each other’s comments and viewpoints respectfully.
The future is bright! 😎
Congratulations to the 4K, 5K, and 2nd grade Blackhawks of the Week! 🌟📚

We are very excited to have the Moreland family join us to share their story and experiences living with autism and epilepsy.
We will hear the mother's perspective, siblings' perspective and also from Lindsey the young adult who was nonverbal at age 4 and now is fully independent and thriving. She is an illustrator for the Koda the Fluff series of children's books and has written several children's books based on her own childhood experiences from being the target of bullies to making a friend.
The family will offer their books and sensory plushie available for sale after the program. This program is sponsored by the Bloomer Public Library and free for all ages to attend
